When I was about 13 years old, my uncle regifted me a beautiful Goya classical guitar given to him. I believe he was running a jazz club at the time. I can still remember the odor of the polish for it. Odd, that, because I very quickly traded it in for a Silvertone guitar and amplifier. Thus began the long path to becoming a professional musician.
